Bio

Johanna Mares graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts and obtained her Juris Doctor from Concord Law School at Purdue University. She was admitted as an attorney in Riverside California in November of 2021. She began her Law career as a freelance attorney. Her first client was a taco truck owner who had his property commandeered by Riverside City code enforcement. She argued a violation of the 5th amendment and had her clients' property returned in full.  For two years she worked as a juvenile dependency and delinquency attorney.

She now enjoys the practice of workers compensation defense.  Prior to joining Testan Law, Johanna worked at another prominent Workers Compensation Defense Firm representing Insurance Carriers and Employers at the San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Van Nuys, Marina Del Rey, Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Long Beach WCAB Venues.
