ATB’s Jeffrey Adelson Discusses Medical Marijuana Insurance Controversy in Business Insurance

Jeffrey M. Adelson, managing partner and general counsel, ATB commented on the state versus federal government legal controversy that led Hawaii’s largest workers’ compensation insurer to decline coverage for seven medical marijuana dispensaries operating in the state.
In his comments, Jeff encouraged insurers in states to follow California’s model and “insure the medical marijuana industry because it is business.”
