Chief Financial Officer

Scott Wirtz is the Chief Financial Officer for Testan Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of experience in the legal industry. In those years, he has materially participated in all aspects of financial management. He has successfully planned and implemented several financial intelligence platforms. Scott’s focus has been on moving towards a paperless office and the electronic delivery of data to authorized users. He has addressed legal technology conferences on the topics of paperless information delivery and reporting.

Scott received his B.A. in business administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Prior to joining Testan Law, Scott was the Finance Director at Nossaman, LLP. Before that, Scott was the controller at Loeb & Loeb, LLP.

Scott is a frequent speaker at the International Legal Technology (ILTA) Conference. He is currently serving on ILTA’s Accounting Finance and Investments Committee. His past volunteer positions at ILTA include the Conference Planning Committee and the Finance Steering Committiee. Scott served as a board member of the LEDES Oversight Committee from 2007 to 2015.

He has published articles in Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, Law Technology News, and Peer to Peer–The Quarterly Magazine of ILTA. Scott authored an ILTA Whitepaper, “Year End Collections Start January 1.”
