Eli Drake
Director of Business Intelligence & Analysis

Eli Drake is director of Business Intelligence and Analysis at Testan Law. In this position, he uses statistics and other quantitative methods to support the firm's services, including its focus on driving efficiency in litigating matters on behalf of clients and its work in the area of legacy and complex workers' compensation claim closures.

He joined Testan Law in 2014, after serving in a variety of analytical positions over a 10-year period. Most recently he worked as a research statistician for Global Market Insite, an online survey research firm. There he created methods to allow for statistically sound data collection from a wide array of online sources. Prior to that, he served as an assistant vice president and data analyst with Marsh USA where he developed statistical models and simulations for workers' compensation claims.

Mr. Drake earned a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Potsdam, completing both degrees in four years through an honors program. He is the author of a patent on sampling from biased populations and has a second patent pending for a technique to validate survey respondents. He has also co-authored several technical papers on statistical applications.
