Jacque Van Buskirk
Training and Quality Assurance Coordinator

Jacque is a Training and Quality Assurance Coordinator in Testan Law’s Consulting Services Division. She has more than 21 years of experience in workers’ compensation and has been with BTN since 2003.

As part of Testan Law’s Consulting team, she oversees the strategic management of key client accounts. In addition to conducting internal client reviews, she helps deploy Testan Law resources to facilitate more effective service delivery. She also handles client reporting, monitors account trends, and develops and implements approaches to improve all aspects of account management.

Jacque began her insurance career in 1990, serving with a large insurer in the Premium Audit function. In 1993, she moved to the insurer’s Workers’ Compensation Claims Department and earned the WCCP, SIP, APA and CPCU designations while working as a senior claims adjuster.

In 1998, Jacque was promoted to claims supervisor, leading four medical only desks and six senior claims adjusters. As supervisor, she monitored claims activity and led claims reviews with brokers and insureds. She also participated in the insurer’s mentoring project for new adjusters and served a two-year term in its “think tank” promoting claims handling, client relations and employee growth.

In 2000, Jacque transferred to the Litigation Office as a hearing representative. In this position, she handled litigated workers' compensation files, attended hearings, depositions and trials. Three years later, she joined Testan Law, initially as a hearing representative in the San Bernardino office. In 2006, she became manager and assumed her current responsibilities in Consulting in 2013.
